Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane. His choice. When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Not my friends son These next two were taken last year with better weather As you can see I have a real thing about the Spitfire. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orc6_w1pdZA www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_GCXur2Ehw www.youtube.com/watch?v=skrxCrsN290 www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOzEeJZ92X8 www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERTcUmTE2ck&t=6s Have a great day

DeleteYes, I followed the Monkees, too. And liked their music. Daydream Believe, just one of their iconic songs.
ReplyDeleteI’m a Believer . . . another iconic Monkee’s song. Fun.
Love Wipe Out! Fun song to dance to!
The Locomotion – another FUN song to dance to.
Walk of life by Dire Straits – such a great song.

DeleteA lot of great music. I too was sad to hear about Nesmith.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanne
DeleteYou surprised me. I expected all Monkees' tunes. I too watched them from the beginning. I catch them occasionally on reruns. Tomorrow a local station is running The Monkees all morning as a tribute.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
I didn't do too many as not everyone liked them. I would have like to see that program

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love their music. I was platonic in love of Davy Jones, LOL. So now, it's only Mickey Dolenz. Sigh! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, I didn't know that Mickey was the only one left
DeleteWhat a loss. I have many great memories of watching the Monkees as a child, and have enjoyed their reruns as well. Played their albums until they were completely worn out. Glad I can still enjoy them online.
