Friday's Post "more cars from the show"
Thanks for all the nice comment yesterday. I have a few more to show from last Sunday!
These last 2 are from the "Caddie" the engine is a V12
The owner said it doesn't do much to the gallon, er no!
Maybe not the best but close to it
Have a good weekend
Many thanks Gill. It is going down here too but still over 50 (10C)
ReplyDeleteOh I love all of these cars. So beautiful. Thank you Trev. I always smile when we see the past cars driving by us on the highway. Have a safe Friday friend. My PT is done now. Now to my walks outside with my husband. Yeah! Take care
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbi. I was going to ask you how you were.
DeleteThe cars are fantastic. So much care to keep them in tip-top condition.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
and lot of cask as well 😁
DeleteOh, memories that a car can bring out in one... that VW camper! Yes, aging hippie here... my folks had a VW bus (and five children, so they needed it).
ReplyDeleteYou must have had loads of fun back in the day
DeleteLove Katie Melua’s The Closest Thing to Crazy.
ReplyDeleteNorah Jones’ Sunrise is wonderful!
Willie Nelson and Ghose Riders in the Sky. And Johnny Cash, too! Wonderful!
I absolutely love Andre’s version of Hallelujah!
The BeeGees Immortality is awesome!
The cars are wonderful! Love the one w/the divided windshield. Could never figure out what the purpose of that was.
I think it was just the way they were built in those days. it may have been because the glass wouldn't take it. Not sure
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barb
Wowsa---what great pics and CARS!!! Love the VW camper!!! Love all of them--but something about a VW---just stands out for me as fun times!!! Thanks, Trevor!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl
DeleteMost interesting to see how cars have evolved over the years.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better after your fall. Some things have come a long way
DeleteMy second car was a Ford Cortina, white with a blue stripe I bought is from a police woman :)
ReplyDeleteI had 3 of them and if I had the space to keep one I would buy one , but sadly no room
DeleteA nice variety of old cars, and colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanne, Last show tomorrow
DeleteVery nice. I “grew up” in our family’s 1956 Chevy 210 2-door. Your fourth photo reminds me of it. Similar color and shape. 🙂
ReplyDeleteWe don't see that many of these over here, there may be one at tomorrows car show. I will have may camera
DeleteWow...those cars are so beautiful. Love that green one! My favorite color. And the music....oh my goodness. Norah Jones.....love her. That was my first time listening to Katie Melua. She has a beautiful voice. And of course, you can't go wrong with some Willie and Johnny Cash! lol
ReplyDeleteCeline has an exquisite voice and I could listen to her all day.
Thank you so much for sharing! Have an awesome weekend.
Many thanks
DeleteVERY NICE
