Friday Post

 I got behind this week, so a little late.

Last Saturday was the Faversham Transport show. Now we have never been on a Saturday before as we normally go Sunday. This year we couldn't get tickets so it was Saturday or nothing.

Well the Saturday is for Buses ad a few cars. When I say a few cars! there were about 10 there and 4 (four) buses. 

To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. we spent more time in the café. the best part of the show the the RC track whit lorries, cranes and tipper trucks. I have some pictures below.

 Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane.  His choice.  When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Monday's post "Knights jousting"

 A few years ago I went to Leads Castle where knights were putting on this display. I am not kidding this was as real as it gets. The swords were not sharp but the lances WERE really.
