Super Moons

 Hi all ,last6 night was one of three "super Moons". This was the Harvest moon. The sky was so clear and stable that I just had to get my camera out. 

Now the is always trouble taking a full moon picture with a camera as it is so bright, but with a little help from s/ware this is what I managed.



Now the next super moon is on the 1th November and is the "Hunters Moon. Let hope that the sky plays ball.

 Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane.  His choice.  When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Monday's post "Knights jousting"

 A few years ago I went to Leads Castle where knights were putting on this display. I am not kidding this was as real as it gets. The swords were not sharp but the lances WERE really.
