Friday Post

 Morning all, last Sunday was the last car show of he year for me and my friends.

I have now been to this site three time this year, it is at Headcorn airfield. There were not so many people here this time but it was a good show. Here are some of my pictures.








I do have a couple of "runouts" with the friends at the Morris Minor club but I am not sure if I am going yet.

Thursday's post "Airshow"

 Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane.  His choice.  When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Monday's post "Knights jousting"

 A few years ago I went to Leads Castle where knights were putting on this display. I am not kidding this was as real as it gets. The swords were not sharp but the lances WERE really. Take a look at these pictures: Video of Leeds Castle event Leads Event On come the king and his lady I can't remember how many of them got hurt but falling off of a horse can't be fun Here is the setting for it.
