Car show

 Last weekend, I had two car shows. The Saturday one was great but it was raining for the Sunday one. Here are some pictures from the Saturday show.

It was around 27 C with high humidity all day.

Ii was so hot a lot packed up at lunchtime. we stuck it out but were forced to leave around three because it looked like a thunderstorm was on its way.

This never happened, so we got home early.

    Such wonderful cars! Wow! It was hot and humid for the shows. Sounds like it may have been good to leave early even if the thunderstorm didn’t materialize!

    Nice variety of cars. The red jalopy is a classic. Back in my day they called that color Candy Apple Red.

    The car shows fuel nostalgia for me. Ooh, reading comments... I remember "candy apple red" as a color!

      I needed some black paint a week or so ago, There is so many different colours of black. It is the same with car paint

Thursday's post "Airshow"

 Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane.  His choice.  When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos.
