Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane. His choice. When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Not my friends son These next two were taken last year with better weather As you can see I have a real thing about the Spitfire. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orc6_w1pdZA www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_GCXur2Ehw www.youtube.com/watch?v=skrxCrsN290 www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOzEeJZ92X8 www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERTcUmTE2ck&t=6s Have a great day

DeleteNever heard Mad Dogs and Englishmen but very fun to listen to.
ReplyDeleteHave heard Hippopotaus before. CUTE song!
Definitely familiar w/In The Mood. My parents listened to Glen Miller a lot.
Iconic Little Richard!
Bill Haley and the Comets . . . another iconic song!
Don’t remember what movie that was from, but I remember Sophia Loren singing that song.

DeleteHi Trev, read your Monday blog today. For some reason didn't get the notification. Flu is really bad here now too! Lots of people I know had it or have it now and said it is worse than having Covid. I just got over Covid about a week ago & had a mild case. Although I do run out of energy a little faster and am hoping that goes away soon because I normally have lots of energy.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the first two songs, the Mad Dogs and Hippo song. I didn't know Sophia Loren was a singer. I had never heard her sing before. She was one of my mom and dad's favorite actresses.
Hope you have an awesome day!
We have a lot of Flu and Covid over here and the Flu seems to be bigger than the Covid
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, Trev. Thank you for sharing the music. Have a great Thursday. Smiles, Debbie
