Friday's post "The end of a power station"

 Good morning 

Richborourgh Power Station was taken down in 2012. (I was lucky enough to be in a position to photograph it. It was one of our landmarks that is gone forever.

  2. The right place at the right time with your camera. These were supposed to represent the "clean" power source of the future. A sad commentary on the fate of our Earth.

  7. If you've ever read the writings of a demolition expert you'd know how much planning goes in to making it go down so smoothly! You were in a great place to photograph the sequence. Awesome, and thanks for posting it.
