Monday's Post " A few pictures"

 Good morning all. I always say that a new week  a new start. Wipe the slate clean for a fresh start.

Over the weekend I have been doing some of my old pictures to make them better, I hope you like them.

      Thanks, Debbie. That sure grow quickly but 26 years seems like yesterday.. Weather about the same here but the clouds are filling the sky.

    Beautiful sunsets, so smoky in shading. Love them. Your great nieces are certainly cute. I bet they are charmers now.
    I wonder if the last picture is of a dog bed of cat bed. When I zoomed in on it, it looks like fabric that has fiber fill around the edges.

Thursday's post "Airshow"

 Good morning. This should have been posted on Tuesday but busy after the BH just got in the way. Sunday I went to Headcorn airfield to see a friend's son jump out of a perfectly good plane.  His choice.  When we got there they had an air display and a classic car meet one, this was not known to us. My friend (not the one jumping) has a damaged tendon at the back of his knee and can't walk too far. So we didn't bother with the cars. We set u at the cafe and stayed there until his son did his jump. This is where I took my photos. Monday's post "Knights jousting"

 A few years ago I went to Leads Castle where knights were putting on this display. I am not kidding this was as real as it gets. The swords were not sharp but the lances WERE really. Take a look at these pictures: Video of Leeds Castle event Leads Event On come the king and his lady I can't remember how many of them got hurt but falling off of a horse can't be fun Here is the setting for it.
