I am trying to set this up so that you can ask for an email when I post. But I seem to be missing on the edit page Templates. This is needed to paste the text into this page. If you have the answer please let me know.

DeleteYou are learning, faster than I am! I note that you have the YouTube videos opening in new tabs now... awesome, and I like it! I haven't figured out the "subscribe by e-mail" thing... there are some "helps" out there, but it's all HTML, and you'd have to customize your template and tweak to make it work, and I wasn't up to the effort when I was considering it.

DeleteGoogle has a problem with the template and as far as I know it is one of triose problems that hasn't been fixed. I will keep looking and let you know.
The new window for Youtube is easy when you know how.
When writing your blog, up at the top are a number of icons. One of the is for file/links. Click on that and you will het a box on the screen with two boxes at the bottom. The top one need a tick in it and then you can paste you link into the line you want.

ReplyDeleteI can’t offer Blogger help since I use a different platform, but ONEKIDSMOM is right that there are usually lots of tutorial videos and pages for explaining how to do things.
When I search online for help, I usually restrict to search to results from the past year. That usually helps make sure the advice I’m looking at is relevant to the current version of my platform...
In the meantime, I do very much appreciate that Blogger can make a cross-platform reading list. (Thanks for the tip, ONEKIDSMON!) I only have to go to one place to see if any blogs have an update.
In some ways I like that option better than email, but I’m sure that isn’t everyone’s preference. 🙂
I like this Trev. Still trying to figure out how to get notification of blogs myself. If I check the notify box here it, emails me everyone's response to this blog, so I'm not doing that again on this one and see what happens.
